Pinhole

March 21, 2015

I've really fallen in love with working with pinhole imagery. There is a beautiful tension between what is recognizable and what falls out of focus. I also love the bianarey between the primitive technology of the pinhole in contrast with the sophisticated digital sensor. I've been continuing to explore and push materials and am really enjoying the results!

Below are some of my pinhole images before printing. There is such a beautiful to them. I find the pinhole very poetic.

One of the pinhole images I took on my way home on Wednesday. This is a lake near our house. The 7 second exposure captured the motion of the water, leaving it blurry. It’s a neat affect.
Swipe for details.
